Folsom American Little League Community-
Our 2022 Annual Meeting was held this past Monday. The annual general meeting is an opportunity for the board to present a recap of not only FALL’s annual budget and constitutional updates, but a review of annual operations.
This past year was a huge success as we returned all events to the pre-covid state. Of the events and milestones the League accomplished this year, Fan Fest is particularly memorable. A highlight of the Fan Fest experience was FALL's hosting of a Challenger game. The Little League Challenger Division was founded in 1989 and is Little League’s adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges. FALL players volunteered to coach and assist with on field activities during the game. We hope this type of community involvement can provide an enriching experience for our players that illustrates the value of community awareness and volunteerism. Folsom American Little League is proud to support District 54’s Challenger division and will continue to step up to the plate to support the program any way we can.
With the return of Fan Fest came the Home Run Derby, River Cats Game, Hosting the Majors TOC Tournament, fielding 3 full All-Star teams, etc. None of these activities happen without the endless hours of our coaches and parent volunteers put in as team parents, scorekeepers, prepping the fields for games, etc.- THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO! We know you are at the core of FALL’s success!
Every year the Annual Meeting is when our Board elections are held. The ebb and flow of current board members leaving and new board members joining is natural. We would like to thank the board of 2021-2022 for all the hard work and countless hours they put in to deliver a top tier Little League experience. We’d also like to acknowledge the 2022-2023 year’s new board members for stepping up and committing to continued success of Folsom American Little League.
