2026 Spring Season

Head Coach Serves as the coaching manager of the team and is responsible for all team activities as well as overseeing the organization of the team and the behavior of players, coaching staff, and fans.

Assistant Coach Works with the Manager/Head Coach to support the team in coaching activities during practices and games.

Manager & Coach Safety Training

Managers & coaches are encouraged to read the District 54 Safety Clinic Outline PDF prior to watching the webinar and to use it as a reference.

Managers AND coaches are required to attend a Safety Meeting prior to on field practices. The League will provide training every year in February prior to schedules being released. If you do not attend the Safety meeting you will be required to go to a district training at a later date. Schedules are not released until Safety training requirements are met.

Managers and coaches are also required to do the following online trainings:

1) Safety Awareness
Provides volunteers with a broad overview of key safety concepts and best practices that support safe league operations.

2) First Aid Awareness
Designed to introduce volunteers to common injuries, basic first aid principles, and important response considerations specific to the Little League environment.

3) Abuse Awareness
The safety and well-being of all participants in the Little League® program continues to be paramount and this course is required to be completed by all volunteers each year.

4) Diamond Leader Training Program
Focuses on ensuring children have a positive, well-rounded experience on and off the field.

Manager Selection Process

Want to be a Little League manager? The selection process starts with prospective managers registering as a Head Coach for the current season. Prospective managers will be interviewed by the FALL Board of Directors. The number of teams needed in each division is then determined based on player registration and the FALL Board of Directors will choose managers for each division.

Check the Events tab on the Home page for important dates if you are interested in becoming a manager for a FALL team.
