Fall Ball (sometimes termed "Winter Ball") is a great opportunity to build on the accomplishments of the spring season. The main focus is player development, allowing players some additional practice and game experience to hone
their skills going into the next spring season.
Divisions
for Fall Ball are
based on a player's league age for the upcoming Spring season. For example, if your player was league age 11 for the 2019 Spring season, he/she will be considered league age 12 for Fall Ball. We anticipate having four divisions of play for the 2019 Fall Ball
season.
-
Juniors - league ages 13 and 14
-
Majors - league ages 10 through 12
-
Minors - league age 8 through 10
-
Up and Comers - league age is 7 and 8 in a focused training season
The number of teams and games depends on the number of players that register, and the number of managers and coaches that volunteer.
Player evaluations will take place in mid August with practices starting near the last week of August and games beginning a few weeks later. The season generally runs through October with one game during the week and one game
on Sunday. Competition also crosses over to other leagues in District 54, exposing players to different teams and fields. The inter league play adds a fun element to the overall Fall Ball experience!
