FALL, Little League, and a Youth Baseball Skills Development Program
FALL is dedicated to supporting the Little League philosophy for assisting youth in the community by developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork, and physical well-being. By embracing the virtues of "Character, Courage, and Loyalty", Little League baseball is designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes.

FALL demonstrates its commitment and support towards the development of the qualities of discipline, teamwork and physical well-being for its players and its dedicated volunteer coaches by providing a baseball skills training and development program.

By providing the opportunities throughout the season to continually improve our players' baseball skills and the ways our coaches can teach them, we can achieve a better youth baseball experience, we can enjoy the most competitive and exciting LL game play, and together we can develop our children into the best citizens in our community now and for the future. All of this for you right here with FALL!

FALL's Youth Baseball Trainer: Mike Richardson

Learn to Hit, Field, Catch and Pitch Like the Pro's with Mike Richardson
Mike is a local professional youth baseball instructor and we are proud to make our affiliation with him. His many credentials include playing 6 years professionally at all minor league levels in the San Diego Padres organization, topping out at the AAA level. He has participated in several Major League spring training camps and was trained and played at 8 different positions (everywhere except shortstop) during his professional career! Mike was a scholarship athlete at both Division I powerhouse Long Beach State and Division II powerhouse Sonoma State. While at Sonoma State, Mike was selected as an NCAA Division II All-American and was voted West Region Player Of The Year.

Mike's instruction program will focus on the fundamentals, the mechanics, the techniques and most importantly the mental aspects of baseball. Instruction includes

  • Individual Player or Multi-Player Lessons
  • Personalized video Analysis
  • Professional Workout Model
  • Discounted Lesson Packages
  • FALL members will receive a free 15 minute evaluation

Beginning June 9th, Mike will have the use of the Folsom Sports Complex private instruction cage on Monday evenings 5:00-9:00PM. Please call Mike at the number below to schedule your individual or small group lesson.

FALL's Training and Development Clinics

FALL believes that a player's baseball skills development and training should progress throughout the entire season and should not stop once the regular season games begin.

That's why we have a LL Winterball Season program and several baseball skills clinics during the LL Spring Season program for the youth and volunteer coaches to attend.

FALL introduced "Team Training" for our Minors, Majors and Upper divisions with our professional youth baseball instructor to allow for a more directed and focused approach that allows the team managers to work with the trainer to prepare a special practice to target the areas in most need as a whole and with individual players and coaches.
